There will be a "guess the kisses" contest held during the Christmas potluck, (Christmas day @2:00 pm at the MVR clubhouse).There will be a jar filled with chocolate kisses in the clubhouse on Christmas day, take a guess at how many chocolate kisses are in that jar. The member who guesses closest will win a cash prize, as well as the jar of kisses! So come to the potluck and enjoy a Christmas feast, and take a guess at the "guess the kisses" contest!  

  Mountain View Resort will be conducting the 2nd annual outdoor Christmas light contest for park members. Displays will be judged for best overall display and presentation. The winner receives a cash prize for 1st place, and honorable mention for runner up.(This contest prize is being sponsored and provided by an anonymous park member).

GUIDELINE FOR USING THE CLUBHOUSE

Check the calendar in the clubhouse to see if your date is available, write it on the calendar to avoid overlapping events.

If you turn on the heat, remember to turn it off

After your event, clean kitchen and all appliances that were used. Clean Bathrooms.

Clean tables and chairs, and put them back the way they were found.

Empty trash if used. Please do not leave trash behind.

Vacuum carpet in the areas used, if necessary.

Please do not leave perishables in the refrigerator or cabinets.

Make sure to turn off the lights and lock all doors when leaving.

Please report any problems to your district director.

Air Conditioning Summer Protocol

With the installation of the new Air Conditioning system in the clubhouse the Board of Directors felt there is a need to set it at 85 degrees as a start point. The building will be cooler that the outside temperature.

This starting point is designed to be flexible if those using the clubhouse find it needs to be adjusted, please notify Dan, Chuck or Merrille. They will have the ability to adjust it electronically.

If you are planning to use the clubhouse for a planned event (Birthday, cards, etc.) please notify them in a 48-hour pre-event time frame. That will allow them time to re-set it and have it ready for you as well as be able to turn it back up when you’re done.

For those who didn’t hear, the system was able to be installed and paid for mostly by donations.

We realize this is new and we want to be able to review all of the data in the fall to determine costs as well as if it is working for those who want to use the clubhouse.
